What does the weight loss consultation include?

This 15-minute consultation with our medical team focuses on discussing your health goals, reviewing your medical history, and creating a personalized weight loss treatment plan including general nutrition and diet recommendations. For ongoing support you will receive access to monthly consultations to evaluate your progress and adjust your dose if needed. Additionally, you’ll gain access to our online Client Marketplace, where you can easily manage prescription refills and order supplements.

Which weight loss medications do you prescribe?

Tirzepatide(Monjauro) and Semaglutide(Ozempic). We also prescribe herbal therapies and amino acid treatments for those looking for alternative options.

How do Tirzepatide (mounjaro) and Semaglutide (Ozempic) make you lose weight?

Tirzepatide works by mimicking hormones in the intestine after a meal (GLP-1 and GIP) which prompts insulin secretion and slows down the time it takes to empty your stomach, causing you to feel fuller longer and lose weight. It also interacts with GLP-1 receptors in the brain which significantly decreases appetite and cravings.

What is the cost of the weight loss medications?

Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are dispensed in 2ml or 4ml vials depending on your dose. Tirzepatide ranges from $650.00-$850.00 per vial, and Semaglutide from $550.00-$750.00. Because we practice controlled management of GLP-1s with personalized dosing, the vial may last anywhere from 1-5 months.

How are the weight loss medications administered?

Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are administered via subcutaneous injection using a small insulin needle, typically once a week. However, we have some oral medication options available.

Are peptide injections painful?

Insulin needles are very small and most patients are surprised to learn that the injections cause little to no pain.

Do I need to send you my labs to begin weight loss therapy?

No, our medical team will review your medical history, and if there are any concerns additional data may be requested. However, initial lab work is not needed prior to your consultation. We do offer a metabolic lab panel that our medical providers will discuss with you during your consultations.

What do I do when my Client Marketplace access expires after six months?

If your Client Marketplace access has expired, you will need to renew your membership with a follow up consultation so our medical team can review any changes to your health history and update your treatment plan. What are the contraindications to weight loss therapy?

Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are not prescribed for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active cancer, history of thyroid cancer, history of severe allergic reactions, active undiagnosed medical conditions, multiple endocrine neoplasia, or history of hypoglycemia. What is the difference between a Weight Loss Consultation and an Initial Wellness Consultation?

The weight loss consultation is limited to weight loss medication or peptide therapy only. Medical advice is not provided on additional health concerns or lab testing. What is the standard shipping time frame for my order?

Our standard shipping time frame is 7 to 10 business days after your order has been received and processed by our pharmacy. Since our peptides and medications are compounded individually to meet your specific needs, this time frame allows us to ensure the highest quality. Please note that shipping time frames may vary based on your location and any potential delays. 

What should I do if my cold product arrives warm or compromised?

All of our products have undergone rigorous testing and are designed to withstand extreme temperatures and delays for up to 72 hours. If your cold product arrives warm or compromised, please contact our customer service team for assistance. 

Are there any areas where shipping times are longer due to geographic location?

Yes, shipping times may vary based on geographic location, particularly for remote or rural areas. While our standard timeframe is 7 to 10 business days, some locations may experience longer delivery times due to distance, local carrier availability, or regional weather conditions. 

How can I track my order once it is shipped?

Once your order leaves our facility, you will receive a notification confirming successful shipment, along with a tracking number. This tracking number allows you to monitor the progress of your delivery in real-time. You can use it directly from the link provided in your email, or directly with the shipping carrier’s site for the most up-to-date information. What should I do if my package gets lost or damaged in transit?

If your shipment is lost or damaged during transit, especially for cold products, we recommend that you first file a claim with the appropriate carrier. Once you have obtained your claim number, please contact our team and provide them with this information. We will then use your claim number to liaise with the carrier on your behalf to expedite the resolution process. 

Can I schedule a specific delivery date for my order?

Yes, you can schedule a specific delivery date for your order. To ensure we can accommodate your request, please notify us of your preferred delivery date at the time of placing your order. Once we receive this information, we will coordinate the processing and shipping of your prescription or supplement to align with your desired timeframe while also considering the product’s expiration date. 

What happens to my order if there are delays in shipping?

If you have ordered a “dry” product or an item that does not require refrigeration, rest assured that your product remains 100% viable and safe to use, even in the event of shipping delays. For cold products, if the delay exceeds 72 hours, we recommend that you contact us immediately. We take the integrity of our cold products seriously and will work with you to address any concerns and provide a suitable resolution. 

Do you offer expedited shipping options? 

Yes, we offer expedited shipping, including Saturday delivery. We typically ship Monday through Thursday, but for those who are wanting Saturday delivery will be shipped on Friday. Please note that expedited shipping may incur additional charges, which will be applied at checkout.
